Business info
Prior to tiling we can fully prepare all walls and floor surfaces, including (where necessary) removal of existing tiles, plastering and rendering, PVA sealing, installation of plywood sub floors and walls, floor screeding, latex floor levelling and installation of shower aqua panels. We only use high quality adhesives, grouts and sealants.

The 'Tile calculator' table will help you determine how many tiles you will need.

First of all you will need to measure all the wall and floor area to be tiled to work out the total number of square metres or yards required (Meters is preferable).

Any wall surfaces broken up by doorways, windows, chimney breasts etc, subdivide these into square or rectangular spaces to make it easier to measure and then add the totals together.

Don't forget to allow 10% for offcuts. Order all your tiles in one batch if possible ensuring the same batch code for continuity in colour and shade.

Fair and Square Tiling can accurately measure your room for you so you know exactly how many tiles to order, though most good tile shops are happy to refund any unused tiles.

Before purchasing your tiles there are a number of things to be considered, such as:

Will the material be suitable for the use of the room?

What size of tile would look best?

How many tiles will I need?

What finish should I choose?

Fair and Square Tiling can help you with sound advice about choosing the right tile for the job, and often source your preferred tile more competitively than you'll find on the high street.
